It is covered with tundra and rich in diamonds and other precious minerals, which the Arkanians mine to further their offworld connections and master their technology. Arkanian cities are designed to keep the cold out, and are mostly completely enclosed. Off-world visitors rarely have to deal with the frigid conditions of this planet.

Located in the Colonies Region, its grid co-oridinates are N-11. It has a temperate and moist climate, a rotation period of 25 standard hours and a 278 local day orbital period. Only the richest of the Neimoidian species is allowed to live on planet, the cities built on large bridges spanning massive rock arches. Its allegiance lies with the CIS.

The Colonies
In the region between the Core Worlds and the Inner Rim exists the Colonies Region. The planets here were among the first areas outside the Core to be colonized, some before the establishment of the Galactic Republic, and many worlds in the Colonies were founding members. The worlds here are typically heavily populated, industrialized, and have cultures as well established as the Core Worlds. Due to its close proximity to the galaxy’s economic and political powerhouse, the Colonies is a largely wealthy region consisting of booming industrial worlds, trade centers and garden worlds. It is responsible for many of the Republics raw material exports.
