siri naiia tachi female, thirty three, jedi | Play-By: Sienna Miller Name: Siri Tachi Nicknames: Zora Age: Thirty Three standard years Sex: Female Species: Human Home World: Born on Naboo, raised on Coruscant. Faction: Jedi Order Title: Jedi Master, Jedi Ace Knighthood: Guardian Rank: Jedi General Hair: Siri's hair is a pale, flaxen blonde color, not unlike the hue of wheat she is often told. She can often be found wearing her hair down and loose in it's shoulder-length, semi straight wave, but when on missions Siri pulls her hair back into a pony tail or a braid to keep it out of the way. Eyes: Her eyes are almond shaped, not too big, and not too small either, with just a slight cat-like upturn at the corners. The color of her irises is a unique, deep blue shade that fades to a brighter hue around her pupils. Body Shape: Siri's body is hardly what you would call curvy. All of her years of hard work and dedicated training are surely evident in her solid, graceful build. And though she is no doubt well muscled, Siri takes pride in her agility over all, and so her muscles are sinewy, but nothing of a ridiculous bulk or size. Height: 5 Feet, 8 Inches (1.77 Meters) Weight: 120 Pounds (54 Kilograms) Scars, Piercings, Tattoos: Siri has no tattoos on her body, not because she is opposed to them, but because she has yet to have a reason to get one herself and she's not even sure if she'd like any at all. In regards to scars, she has only a few, the largest of which runs across her right shoulder blade, and the smallest of which graces the underside of her leftmost jaw.
Languages: Galactic Basic Standard was Siri's first language, and she speaks it beautifully with a Coruscanti Accent, though not one quite as pronounced as some of her friend's. Huttese was the second language Siri learned, and she learned it in order to more successfully carry out a secret mission she was assigned concerning the slave trade in Hutt Space. Siri can also speak and understand minor bits and pieces of Bocce and Durese, but mostly phrases she picked up in ports, and those that help her to eavesdrop and collect important information while doing so.
Clothing and Armor: When it comes to clothing, Siri likes to keep it simple while still maintaining an air of style and professionalism. Her Jedi Robes consist of form fitting inner and outer tunics, a short tabard, and loose fitting pants all made of a material very like raw silk, dyed in various shades of soft, dark grays and taupes. A utility belt of a nearly black color graces her waist, tightly fitting but not so tight as to restrict movement, and her pants are tucked into knee high boots of the same shade and leather material as her belt. To top it all off a thickly woven, dark gray cloak almost always accompanies Siri where ever she goes.
Aside from being based off of the essential Jedi Robes, Siri's outfit was designed to allow for quick, light, movements and agile attacks. The silk-like material of her outfit is incredibly light weight, and her soft leather boots, while durable and quite upstanding, are very much unlike the heavy field boots some Jedi wear. The only disadvantage to Siri's clothing of choice is the astonishing lack of armor or protection anywhere in the outfit. Even her tightly fitted under clothes provide next to no protection from heavy, unavoidable attacks as Siri depends far too much on her agility and speed to dodge such offenses.
Weaponry: On her person at all times, like any other Jedi, is Siri's trusty lightsaber. This special, violet saber is one that Siri has come to master nearly completely, and she has great trust in her skills as wielder of the very blade that she created herself. Siri has familiarized herself with each and every part of her saber, and that being said, the weapon is more of an extension of her own body than a mere tool of defense or destruction. While wielding the blade Siri is a formidable foe indeed.
Resources: Being a member of the Jedi Order Siri doesn't often find herself in need of much. She does have in her possession a Delta 7 Aethersprite, a light interceptor starfighter given to her by the Order when she was recognised as a Jedi Ace. The ship has various modifications including a few extra turrets, and extra cargo room for ammo that Siri modified herself. Apart from her ship, Siri finds that she never really needs much else.
Appearance: Siri has a distinct aura, one you can just almost sense when she walks into a room, like a hint of subtle perfume. It's a raw, and powerful sort of glimmer, just a glimpse of her underlying strength that floats about her frame like a shadowy cloak. Her confidence is apparent in her face where the firm set of her dark brows and her shimmering eyes at times give away her inner determination, and the slight upwards turn of her mouth gives off an image of assurance in her ever famous smirk-that-could-almost-be-a-smile. Her grace is unconscious, and she carries herself about with a subtle swagger that is undeniably lethal.
Though she may be considered attractive by some, Siri likes to think that her brains and brawn can get her farther than her beauty. She thinks that she's plain looking most days and mildly pretty at best, but just because she doesn't put much behind her looks doesn't mean that she's completely oblivious to what a pretty smile and wink can get her in times of need. And while she knows this Siri still isn't fully aware of how she truly can enchant some people with one of her rare, full smiles. Her appearance, while intimidating and somewhat harsh on the outside, hides a glow beneath it all and this glow of her inner personality is what those around her are attracted to, despite her devil-may-care attitude about it all.
Strengths: DETERMINED There is no doubt that Siri is determined. Once she sets her mind to something, she seeks it out to the very end and she very rarely lets her fears hold her back from doing what she must. This determination began when Siri was very young, she had decided that, when she first began training, she would try to surpass all who she could.
ACE Flying star ships started out as a sort of game for Siri, a challenge that she had to complete, but over time piloting those ships developed into a fantastic skill. Siri holds back nothing while she flies, and during battle it is no different. She is just as ferocious in a cockpit as she is with a lightsaber in her hand.
EXPERIENCED Siri has had plenty of experience in dealing with battle, and that is where her true strenght lies. This experience has allowed her to be quite the leader in this war, and while people aren't her favorite thing to deal with, she does know how to motivate troops like no other.
WARRIOR When in doubt, Siri always chooses fight over flight, and where some in the Order may view this as a weakness it no doubt adds to her ferocity as an opponent, and her skill as a warrior. Even as a child Siri chose confrontation over conversation when she could, mostly because words aren't always her strong suit, and somewhat because she had a flash fire temper.
QUICK Siri has always been a quick learner. Despite her fears, she never lets anything hold her back from learning what she wants to, or needs to, in order to accomplish her goals. Even as a youngling Siri was recognized as quite intelligent, and just as capable as children who were nearly two years older than her.
Weaknesses: FEARFUL Though Siri often blindly shoves her fears back into that dark little corner of her mind, they are still there, and they constantly plague her. Her fear of falling to the dark side is the most annoying of all, and it constantly nags at the back of her mind, sometimes making her unsure of herself, though she'll rarely let others see that growing uncertainty, but over the years a few have glimpsed this inner fear of hers.
STUBBORN While her determination may be a strength, the stubborness that goes hand in hand with it may not be. Once set in her ways, there is very little that can convince her to change course, and it is very difficult for Siri to admit that she's wrong. This stubborness was the cause of many childhood confrontations when Siri was younger, and over the years she has only realized that admitting defeat is something she is just not capable of.
EMOTIONAL Some may see Siri as a highly emotional, or volatile person, and they may not be quite so far off from the target. Siri is highly argumentative, at times, and she often alienates people when she refuses to back down from fights. She also finds it hard to keep herself from forming one sided attachments with those she truly does hold close to her heart. The fact that she has such high running emotions is what causes Siri to fear the dark side so greatly, and is also the stem from which several of her other weaknesses grow.
WORDS Though she's intelligent Siri isn't a great negotiator like many of the other Jedi she works with. Words were never her strongsuit while fighting was an option, and though she does have random spurts of inspiration during battle when those around her need a boost in morale, and because she so greatly fears making a fool of herself by saying something ridiculous she often times ends up saying the wrong thing entirely and making an ass of herself instead.
PRIDEFUL Pride has always been a stumbling block for Siri as well. She can never quite find it in her to just give up, whether it's a simple argument, or a battle for her life. Siri has been known to push herself to extreme limits to prove to herself and others that she cannot be beaten down.
Goals: PROVE IT Siri isn't sure why, but she always feels as if she needs to prove herself to someone, though whether it's herself, the order, or her enemies, she's never sure. Proving that she can fight and protect the things that she has stood for her entire life is one of the things that keeps her going. When anything she stands for or loves is threatened Siri often becomes overwhelmed with the need to protect whatever it is that is in danger and to prove that she can do so.
CONQUER IT Ever since she was very young Siri has been struggling with her more volatile side, and it is her main goal in life to fully comprehend and defeat this darker side of her. Some think that she is too determined to beat this part of herself and that it will eventually be her undoing, and while Siri sense this herself, she feels as though she is at constant battle with this darkness and admitting defeat is not a strength of hers.
HEAL IT No matter how lame it may sound, Siri does want to make a difference in the universe. She wants to help to annihilate all of those awful things that the Order fights against once and for all, and to finally make the universe a safe, wonderful place to live. She knows it's slightly far fetched, and quite the contradictory ideal to say she's fighting for peace, but the idea that she's helping lead the universe towards better things really does keep her going in those tough times.
Fears: FALLING Ever since she was a youngling Siri realised that she possessed a darker side to her personality, an anger and a fighting instinct that she finds difficult to control at times. The fear of falling due to this more emotional side of her personality was instilled in her from a very young age, and ever since than she has been fighting to keep it under control. FAILING Siri doesn't have many friends, perhaps due to the raw, abrasive aura she gives off at times, but what few friends she does have she fears losing nearly as much as she fears falling to the dark side. Siri would do anything to protect those she feels loyal towards, even to the point of disregarding her own life entirely to save them.
Personality: Siri may come off to most as almost angry, and highly competitive, and this is not an entirely false front that she gives off. Though she has mastered her automatic reflex to fight instead of flee, Siri has maintained that instinctual need to engage is some sort of physical confrontation in order to solve any problems she may stumble across. This abrasive side of her personality is what most might see from the get go, and some might just leave it at that; however, this confrontational side only stems from Siri's inner personality.
Behind her physically driven determination is just plain old determination. Siri is very highly motivated to do what ever it is she sets her mind to, and her determination presents itself as a need to solve things physically. While she is very intelligent, Siri can never seem to smooth over problems with words like many of her friends can, instead Siri automatically resorts to strategic, physical confrontation in order to feel as though she's proved her point or solved what ever problem she was fixing to solve. Siri knows that many of her peers look down upon her 'brutality' but since she is hardly in peaceful, conversational situations as it is, her own sort of reasoning makes far more sense in her own mind.
Aside from her abrasiveness Siri is a highly energetic woman, which is where her need for physical action stems from as well. With such energy it's difficult for Siri to sit still while words solve problems while there are much larger things at stake. It's almost painful for Siri to sit through negotiations, and while she can do it and has, she much prefers to be out on the field or hunting down enemies and using her energy for more productive things than boring conversations. She does, however, realize that those negotiations that she dislikes so much are highly important to the outcome of the war, and as she respects these negotiations she only sees it as more of a reason to stay out of them lest she mess them up somehow.
Her dislike of the 'peace talks' is largely caused by the fact that she feels completely useless at them as well. Siri sees herself as a leader of sorts lately, and at negotiations she never has the upperhand. Out on the battlefield Siri is a fantastic leader. She can read battles much better than she can read people or their conversations, and she finds that battle strategy is something she's quite good at. Aside from that, she's a great motivator, and the troops that she does go into battle with, when she does actually enter a battlefield, are often times highly faithful in her skill and trusting of her knowledge.
And as a General in the war Siri knows what sorts of responsibilities rest on her. She is always highly aware of the lives that depend on her capabilities as a leader, and winning battles with as few casualities as possible is always her goal. Siri respects those under her command and in return she does expect respect and loyalty as well. She knows that she will be trying her damned hardest to get them all out alive, and she very much appreciates it when her troops have her back as well.
History: Though she was born to parents who had no affiliation with the Force, it was obvious from birth that there was something special about Siri Tachi. As an infant she was so lively that her parents had no doubt in her Force abilities, and though they didn't know much about the Force they did their best to nurture Siri's abilities though her childhood. Despite that fact Siri was taken away at a very young age she does recall feeling love for her parents, and she has only good sentiments associated with them. Her childhood on Naboo was pleasant, if not uneventful, save for the time she nearly fell from the second story balcony, and Siri can never seem to recall full memories from her youngest years, only mere glimpses of warm, fuzzy faces in dreams or while meditating. It was when Siri was nearly three years old that she was finally taken away by the Jedi, though the actual occurence of that event is fuzzy, and the next full, clear memories Siri has are those of her years at the temple.
In fact her very first full memory is of her arrival at the temple. She was very small back then, and everything had been so tall that she was sure the temple was where giants had lived. She can vaguely remember her walk through the temple, though it's all mostly a blur of columns and tall archways, but what she recalls the very clearest is her surprise at seeing such a small, green man in the center of that room filled with only slightly larger children. The shock that she had been wrong about the giants is surely the only reason the feeling of that memory is so clear in her mind, but it still brings a smile to her face to remember it.
Meeting the other children is perhaps something she should remember more clearly, but it's all a large blur of faces in all different shapes and colors. She felt very strange, as she had never been around children very often back home, and even as young and as curious as she was Siri felt the need to be careful around these other children, just as her mother had scolded her to be very careful around the edge of that balcony not so long ago. This defensive nature only grew as Siri did. When she began to learn the ways of the Jedi about a year later Siri found that she was just a wee bit smaller than most of the other children that she had been placed with, but because of her innate abilities with the force she had been placed ahead with children who were up to two years older than she was. Being shuffled in with the bigger kids, and boy did she drag her feet to that room, Siri felt her naturally competetive side kick in though she was far too young to realize it.
To say that Siri's next couple of years went on without a hitch would be quite the lie. See, as amiable as she felt like she could be Siri was almost afraid of the other children. She was often scolded for her outbursts which she often resorted to when she wasn't sure how to respond to a situation, and though she felt embarrassed afterwards she never apologised to those she had gotten into the argument with. No matter how sorry she was Siri Tachi did not admit defeat, even as a youngling.
It was this sort of thinking that got Siri into a rivalry with one of her fellow students. Bruck Chun was the one person, aside from one Obi-Wan Kenobi, that drove her absolutely insane. Bruck, much like Siri, never admitted defeat when he got into arguments with her. It was easy for the older child to taunt Siri into an argument, and more often than not the confrontations, whether verbal or physical, that began between the two had to be ended by an elder. And though Bruck was the one person that Siri could have said she truly hated as a child, Obi-Wan irritated her to no end as well, but only because she could never quite pin him down. As younglings the two were also very similar, though she found that the fights between them never escalated as far as those between Bruck and herself often did. It wasn't until later, after Siri helped Obi-Wan to prove Bruck's involvement in Xanatos' infiltration of the Temple that she began to view Obi-Wan as more of an ally than a rival.
Not long after the Xanatos catastrophe Siri was chosen as an apprentice to Adi Gallia and she found herself a true ally of Master Jinn and his padawan learner, one Obi-Wan Kenobi. The string of missions that the two were stuck together on seemed to Siri to be an endless pattern as they continually saved each other. Siri thought it all to be quite ridiculous, though it all built up to such a height that it finally seemed to end when Obi-Wan saved her from certain death at the hands of a gruesome bounty hunter. After her encounter Siri decided that it was time to stop being a child, and, taking a few pages from Kenobi's book, Siri became a much more capable learner. Though she's still quite determined, if you will, she is far less indignant and stubborn as she was as a child.
Even though she had seen a slight change of her ways, Siri still bickered with Obi-Wan when ever she found herself in his company. Though Siri felt she had grown closer to him she made sure to keep her distance as best she could fearing any sort of shift in what they had as friends. It wasn't until a few years later, while on another mission together, that Siri truly recognized the feelings that she had for Obi-Wan. Being with him in the situations that the mission provided allowed Siri a brief moment of clarity, and she was quite surprised when Obi-Wan confessed that he felt the same about her. Though their feelings had been recognized and admitted the two agreed twice during the mission to focus on the task at hand and then discuss their realizations at a different time. However, after the mission had been completed, somewhat successfully, and their charge had been placed into safe custody, the two padawans decided to abandon their love for one another after a very grave conversation with Master Yoda and Master Jinn. Siri knew what this decision would cause, and just as she had predicted her relationship with Obi-Wan, even as a friend, began to fall apart.
The next few years were hard on Siri. Losing Obi-Wan meant that she had lost one of the people she truly trusted, and with only her Master left to rely on Siri fell upon dark times. Her fears of falling grew out of this darker period in her life when she wasn't quite sure how to handle the emotions she was feeling, and though she felt that she hid her turmoil well enough, those around her began to notice her unease as well. It was shortly after the invasion of Naboo that Siri found herself at odds with things. She was assigned a solo mission, and after a frighteningly believable disagreement with her master Siri was informally dismissed as her padawan, and the Siri left the Order. Or so everyone was supposed to believe. In a way it had hurt Siri that everyone she had at least gotten to know would think she was a traitor, but on the other hand Siri felt herself not quite caring anymore. The pain in her chest only fueled her drive to bring down Krayn and fulfill her mission successfully and without distraction. After changing her looks and her identity Siri, as Zora, had very nearly completed the mission on her own and without much trouble.
That was, until Obi-Wan stumbled back into her life. His new padawan, Anakin Skywalker, had been captured by no other than the slave trading unit that Siri had infiltrated. Though neither Siri nor Anakin knew it at the time, Obi-Wan had been informed of the true nature of Siri's departure just shortly before Anakin's capture. Anakin, not knowing this, revealed Siri's true identity to the slave traders, unwittingly undermining her mission. After the two were then thrown in with the slaves they managed to convince the slaves to revolt and successfully overthrew the operation with help from Kenobi on the outside.
With her undercover mission finally completed, Siri was welcomed back to the Order where she became a Jedi Knight. Though it didn't take her long to take on Ferus Olin as her apprentice, Siri did take some time to sort out her feelings once more. Her welcome back to the Order had left Siri feeling a bit odd, as though her time away from the Order, though she had never truly left it, had changed her somehow. She now realized that her ties with the Order stood strong no matter what, and that though she knew she was capable of handling things on her own, she was grateful to once more be surrounded by allies instead of enemies. This mission also made Siri quite aware of her surroundings. After being undercover for as long as she was Siri never quite got over some of the habits she picked up from the criminals she lived with for all that time.
After her short time off Siri finally did take on Ferus Olin as her padawan learner. The two were quite the team and for the years that they were together they went on a wide variety missions, many of them including being paired up with the Kenobi-Skywalker team. However, their partnership ended when Olin announced that he was leaving the Order some years later. After a long and tedious mission, which Olin had very nearly failed, he expressed the grief and guilt that he felt over the death of a fellow padawan and left the Order thereafter.
With Ferus gone Siri had yet to take on another padawan. She feels that she failed him by allowing him to have had to experience such grief, and thus this grief and fear of future failure lives on in her. She is frightened by the idea that she's just not cut out to be a Master, and she has left it at that, and so far she has not been pressed to take on another student.
Up until the begining of the war Siri took on mostly solo missions, though she did aid her former master on a few, and on others she befriended a squadron whom she fought with many times. It was after several successful missions with the squadron that Siri was recognized as a Jedi Ace and received her Delta-7 as a sort of reward for her acheivement.Siri is now ranked as a Jedi Master and a General in the ongoing wars due to her accomplishments during the very start of the warfare. Though she wishes for times of peace to return to the universe Siri is somewhat thankful for the distraction that the war had brought her. Warfare is what she excels at, and she plans on helping her side to win the damn thing before the universe all goes to hell.

Where Did You Find Us: Advert on Caution 2.0 RP Sample: emmeline felt an undercurrent of emotion rush through her stomach as he looked down at her, and she was sure her eyes were giving them away. her stupid, charmed, green eyes. emmie nearly sighed aloud in frustrastion. for just a moment she wished that he would recognize her, that somehow, by some misfortune, he would just simply know that it was her underneath all those charms. but of course he wouldn't, she had made sure her appearance was entirely transformed, even if she couldn't quite hide the shock and the grief that she knew had flashed through her eyes, emmeline knew that there was no way he could see through her charms.
trying to shake the thoughts from her head, emmeline looked up at him, for the first time really since she'd nearly run into him. she saw his eyes flicker down to the red band around her wrist, and, self-consciously, emmie tugged her sleeves down. she should have taken it off today, so she wouldn't be bothered, or recognised for who she was pretending to be. but emmie knew that she couldn't do that, and wouldn't do that, really. no matter how badly she wished she could, she had made a promise to herself that annelie would always be there, in the forefront of her mind where she was most needed, and that emmeline would be pushed back, into a dark little corner where she belonged, long forgotten.
but this little encounter was not helping emmeline keep the promise that she had made to herself. the way his smile fell short of his tired eyes made emmeline want to scold him for working too hard, or whatever it was that he was doing that made his once bright eyes dull with exhaustion. it made her heart clench to think that she was so close to him now, and yet so far away from him in all reality. that she was standing there before him, emmeline vance in the whole, and he didn't know. frowning mentally, emmeline returned his small smile with a half hearted one of her own, hoping desperately that the smile would be enough to mask the emotions that were warring behind her eyes.
"yes, you seem to have mastered that art perfectly," emmeline replied, laughing airily as she tried to ignore the awkward feeling that had curled up in the bottom of her stomach like a heavy stone. she glanced down for a moment, adjusting her wrist band with great care, before she looked back up at him, almost afraid to meet his stare. but she did, head on, nearly losing herself in his curious gaze. quickly centering her thoughts, emmie tamped down her ridiculous emotions once more, a lopsided smile still hanging from her lips as she raised one dark eyebrow at his inquiry.
"oh, i'm just headed to the, er, quieter ends of the tunnels. just need to clear my head a bit, i suppose i am quite distracted." she shrugged her shoulders, a bit lamely at her response. "if i may be so bold, you seem a bit distracted yourself." emmie noted, her eyes drifting back to his.

Battle Meditation - Battle Meditation is restricted, being incredibly rare because it is both almost impossible to learn and impossible to teach. You can not have Battle Meditation, period.
Force Powers - By my count, you're grossly overstacked, having listed yourself as an apprentice for 17 years in the years of training. I suggest you amend it to define how many years were spent as a Knight. When that's fixed, the solution to this is rather simple. First, remove Battle Meditation. Second, you can remove Telekinesis - Core powers encompasses Telekinesis, and thus this is redundant (I realize it was listed, I forgot to remove it - my bad). After that, you'll most likely need to tone down your Force Powers specifically - Guardians have Force Powers to accent their martial prowess, and you have as many as a Consular of that level of training would have. Assuming you are keeping your forms the same, and removing Battle Meditation and Telekinesis, you should remove no less than one master ranked ability and two expert ones.
Violet Lightsaber - If I recall correctly, it's quite Canon for her to have this, which is fine. I'd just like you to mention in her Lightsaber description, or somewhere, that it comes from a synthetic crystal to augment the color. Alternatively, if you wish it to be from a legitimate crystal, you'll need to justify this in your history.
Jedi Ace - If she's an Ace, I want to see details about this in her history, as well as something related to this in he strengths. Otherwise, I just don't buy it.
