Clone Cadet
A Clone Cadet is a Clone Trooper of the Grand Army of the Republic who has yet to complete their intensive combat training. They took their training on Kamino at the military training facility in Tipoca City. Due to the technological capability to speed up a clone’s aging, the Kamino facility was able to create fully grown clones in half the time it would take a human to reach full maturity. For example, at the age of ten, a clone resembled Jango Fett in his early twenties and it was at this age the clones were considered fully mature and ready for duty. At the chronological age of six standard years, clone cadets embark with their training units on tours of the Republic’s Venator-Class Cruisers, where they are given a chance to observe other troopers actually functioning in the field and are overseen by a Clone Sergeant. Clone Cadets who reach maturity are then organized into Squads and will remain in them until graduation from training and joining active duty.
Clone Trooper Private[/b]
The most basic and docile of the Clone Army, the privates are the foot soldiers of the Galactic Republic, as well as the stereotype of the Clone Trooper. They are often referred to as “White jobs”, “meat cans” or “shinies” by their superiors, especially the commandos, and are not as creative as them either though even they are starting to gain a sense of individuality.
Clone Trooper Sergeant[/b]
These were troopers bred specifically to command squads in the Grand Army of the Republic as well as cadets of the Clone Youth Brigade. As one of the NCO Ranks in the Army, they were in the thick of the battle along with the troops under their command. They are outranked when their squad co-ordinates with others and forms a Legion, in which case the Clone Lieutenant commands all the squads. They are recognized on the battlefield by the olive green coloration on their arms and helmets of their armour.
Clone Trooper Lieutenant[/b]
These were troopers bred and trained specifically as officers on Kamino. They command platoons, or 36 troops, and are a few ranks above Sergeant and below a Captain. They have additional command, better training and varying weapons including a wrist-mounted flamethrower. On the battlefield, they are recognizable by the blue coloration on their arms and helmets.
Clone Trooper Captain[/b]
These troopers are bred on Kamino not only as battlefield officers but also special mission operatives. They are often assigned to lead Companies of 144 regular Clone Troopers. They are recognizable on the battlefield by the red coloration on their arms and helmets, and are equipped with a DC-15A blaster rifle and a line of thermal detonators. They were trained also in both squad and company level tactics, as well as to handle the 74-Z speeder bike, making them diverse leaders.
Clone Trooper Major[/b]
These clones are primarily placed in control of a battalion of soldiers and were flash trained by ARC soldiers.
Clone Regimental Commander[/b]
Clone regimental commanders were clone trooper commanders placed in command of regiments.
Clone Trooper Commander[/b]
These clones were bred on Kamino specifically for leadership roles in the Grand Army, typically leading regiments of 2,304 clone troopers into battle. Sometimes however, smaller regiments and battalions are led by Clone Commanders or when Jedi need a group of Clone troopers, no matter what size, a clone commander would usually join the group to assist the Jedi Generals or Jedi Commanders.
They receive flash training to fulfill their advanced roles and were also bred with extra capacity for autonomy, tactical thinking and coordination. In combat they are often assigned to field command centres but often participate with their fellow clone troopers in combat should the situation need it. On the battlefield, they are recognizable by the yellow coloration on their arms and helmets.
Senior Clone Commander[/b]
A senior clone commander was a clone trooper commander who worked alongside a Jedi General to command a legion of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. According to the Grand Army of the Republic Command Hierarchy, there are 320 of them.
Clone Marshal Commander[/b]
A clone marshal commander was a high-ranking clone trooper commander, usually in command of a corps-level formation in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. As such, a Marshal Commander was roughly equivalent to a Major General or Lieutenant General in other services; it was also the highest rank a clone could be given in the Grand Army of the Republic.
Supreme Chancellor/Supreme Commander[/b]
The office has become much more powerful during the term of Chancellor Palpatine, who has been able to convince the Senate to grant him a range of "emergency" powers due to the Separatist Crisis and then the Clone Wars, including an unconstitutional extension of his term of office after 24 BBY for the duration of the Separatist Crisis and authority as Commander-in-Chief of their new military during the Clone Wars. The Chancellor has been given more direct power over administrative concerns, and he is allowed to overrule local planetary and sectoral governments. The Sector Governance Decree allowed him to appoint military governors to every planet in the Republic, and the Security Act amendment gave him complete control over the Jedi Order and Republic military, stripping both the Jedi and the Senate of their previous oversight.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/size][/font][/color]
