So, you want to design something of your own, do you? We like that. And really, there isn't any sort of reason to deny someone that privilege; the galaxy is a huge place, full of systems still not explored, and secrets not yet unraveled. Who's to say that something new can't be found, or made? Here at Knightfall, we encourage you to make your own Star Wars ideas come to life.
Who can make their own stuff?
Anyone! Everyone! We encourage anyone with an interesting idea to come forward and make it real. There will never be limitations as to who can do this.
Why would I want to do this?
Everyone has different reasons, but usually it's because there's something you character needs, discovers, or creates, that needs to be better detailed for the understanding of all. For others, it's about seeing things that aren't characters or plots actualize on the board.
Is everyone affected by a creation, or just me?
Everyone, of course. This represents something that has most likely existed for a while, but rarely experienced. Nothing made will ever be something for you and you only - it's available to everyone. Think how silly it would be if you could make a planet that only you could find and touch.
How does the process work?
Much like a character, you will fill in the applicatio and post it for the Staff to consider. It will require three Staff approvals before it is accepted, at which point it can be introduced immediately by anyone in any thread that begins after its acceptance (that is to say, it can't magically begin existing half-way through a thread that was already in progress).
That's it?
It's actually about that simple. Our only other requirement is that you have at least one accepted character before you consider creating something here. Other than that, please, please be as detailed as possible. Remember, you're trying to make the entire board understand something that only you can see perfectly in your mind. So help us to see it to.
