As long as you've read everything over, you should be able to understand this just fine. If something is unclear, just go over the other sections once more.
Attacking and Defending
You may only make one attack or defense per week. Similarly, you may not make an attack or defense if you've participated in an attack or defense within one week. Finally, you may not make an attack or defense if you're already involved in one - it must be resolved before you can attempt an another.
Surprise defense
If you're attacked within one week of participating in an attack or defense, your army will most likely be fatigued, or low on supplies. You'll be under great stress should this happen, and most likely to fail if left to defend yourself.
Creating an army
There will be those with the power granted to them by their title to create armies of varying sizes. Most titles will be outlined as to the parameters of the kind of army they may create; from a small pod to a Battalion. We encourage those with the ability to make an army to do so. Please keep in mind that a Legion, the highest supported army size on Knightfall, is only creatable by the highest ranking individuals.
Customizing your army
While we encourage you to customize you army to your liking, please do not go overboard. Remember how costly specialized things would be in the numbers that you're speaking of, and that you would have to be accepted by many superiors to have such things. So, keep it reasonable, tasteful, and true to your character. We're going to be sticklers for this, so let's not waste everyone's time, eh?
Recruitment
You're allowed to hire applicable members from around the site to your army. You are in charge of discussing payment for their services, a length of time they'll serve for, and any other details. Essentially, it's a contract. We suggest you work it out In Character rather than Out Of Character, but it ultimately falls between you two. Adding strength to your army like this is the best way to bolster numbers and ensure a victory.
Staff decisions
A Staff member will be posting in your thread once the attack and defense is settled. Their posts represent the ebb and flow of battle, the actions and outcomes of all the fighting between participating parties, minus the PC's. As such, their decisions ultimately dictate the victory of the battle, and their decision is to be respected.
Chain of command
Unless you answer to no-one, you can't simply declare attacks without the approval of those above you. Please don't be making attacks, or joining defenses, unless your allies approve of your movements. That is unless you are intentionally trying to upset their characters for plot reasons.
