Because we anticipate some difficulties over this in the future, it's being laid out right now for everyone to see.
Here at Knightfall, we try to preserve Canon material up to a point. Basically, anything that is/was Canon before the happenings of the Clone Wars (Up to, but not including, the Battle of Geonosis) is firm Canon. It's not something we want to alter.
That being said, anything that comes after the Battle of Geonosis is completely fair game, and may happen in any way we deem fit.
The exceptions to this are any events that took place within the Star Wars: Clone Wars digitally animated series from the Cartoon Network, or from any game that is decidedly un-canon, such as The Force Unleashed. Such events are at the discretion of the Staff to become Canon or be ignored, and should you have a request or opinion on the matter, feel free to PM myself over the matter.
Otherwise, we pay close heed to the word of Wookiepedia.
